LABC is seeking someone to join our standards team, delivering and maintaining LABC’s quality management system, certificated to ISO 9001, and supporting our community interest company, the Building Safety Competence Foundation (BSCF C.I.C) in certificating the competence of building inspectors.
If you have…
• In-depth experience and knowledge of the role and functions of building control teams in local authorities.
• Excellent IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft 365 and online systems for recording, reporting, and document control
• Working knowledge of quality management systems
• The ability to manage competing priorities, work to deadlines, and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
• Proven ability to deal with multiple tasks, stakeholders, pressures and tight deadlines.

This is a predominantly home-based role however occasional travel will be required to undertake audits and invigilate assessments. Flexible and part-time working may be considered.
