LABC offer an award-winning qualification pathway that’s accessible to all LABC members. This means you’ll need to be employed as an apprentice or surveyor by a local authority to access them.

Qualifications – includes part time diplomas in Building Control surveying and an Apprenticeship Degree.

BSc Building Control Apprenticeship Degree – available to local authority employees and delivered by Wolverhampton University from September 2019.

CPD (Continuous Professional Development) courses – LABC offer a range of courses which aim to maintain essential professional knowledge and skills through a structured approach to learning. Some of these are open to everyone and others only to LABC members. If you’re an employee of a local authority, your course will be paid for by them (with the approval of your manager).
