Class 2 (A-F) £38,796 to £50,854 (dependant on experience) a Market Supplement of £4,500 plus a Golden Hello Payment of up to £5,000.

We are looking for a Class 2 Registered Building Inspector to join our team as we meet the opportunities arising from the recent introduction of the Building Safety Act and the updated Building Regulations.

We have an office base at Oxted where the team regularly meets but as an inspector you can expect to be working across the three districts and boroughs.

Responsibilities include
- Determination and inspection of building regulations applications in line with your registered competency.
- Inspection of Dangerous Structures including some out of hours cover (dependant on role level).
- Responsibility for key Partner Accounts for those registered under the LABC Partner Scheme.
- Attendance at the regular CPD events held at offices throughout the partnership area.
- Ensuring knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation is maintained.
- Providing duty officer cover during office hours as part of a rota.
- Investigating unauthorised building works and take appropriate action.
- Supporting the development of our trainees.
