We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated, experienced Building Control Inspector to join our partnership. You will need to be registered with the Building Safety Regulator as level 2 a-f
You will be joining a dynamic service and will have the opportunity to use your excellent communication skills to ensure full compliance with the building regulations whilst working in a fantastic coastal area.
Main duties include leading an area team of surveyors and assisting /deputising for the Building Control Manager, including application processing, issuing of decisions, site inspections, maintaining the council quality management system, dealing with dangerous structures (during working hours) and demolitions.
