We are seeking professional and customer focused registered Building Inspectors Class 1, Class2A, Class 2A-D who will contribute positively to the delivery and reputation of the 3C Building Control service.

The Registered Building inspector will play a key professional role within 3C Building Control Shared Service, ensuring the health, safety and welfare of people in and around buildings. This is achieved through the effective implementation and enforcement of the Building Regulations, the Building Act and associated legislation, while delivering a high quality, customer focused statutory service.
Key parts of the role:
- Plan Checking, Site inspection, Enforcement and public protection.
- Regulatory compliance and professional judgement
- Customer service, advice and commercial engagement
- Team contribution and service improvement
At band 7, the role includes supporting less experienced colleagues, contributing to audits, projects and service initiatives, and helping deliver service plan and corporate plan outcomes across partner councils.
Full corporate membership of CABE, CIOB or RICS is desirable.
