About the role
The Technical & Operations Coordinator will work on a wide range of tasks working with our Regulatory Specialists to provide technical support to the LABC network, including administering our partner authority scheme, facilitating the competent person scheme notifications and LABC's consultancy services. The Technical & Operations Coordinators will also have a key role in supporting trainee building control surveyors seconded into local authorities.
To join our team you’ll need to have great written skills and be an excellent communicator. You’ll need a self-motivated desire to achieve outstanding results, have great IT skills, be able to multi-task and simultaneously work on several projects.
LABC offers 26 days' annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas close. A pension, life assurance and private health care scheme are also offered following successful completion of a probationary period.
The role could be considered for home working dependent on the applicant and their location. Some attendance at LABC’s London office will be needed plus occasional travel to support LABC events and meetings; travel costs are factored into the overall package for homeworkers.
